According to Norse mythology Ragnarök (/ragnarɔk/) is a series of major events causing the death of many mythological figures and ultimately resulting in the rebirth of the earth. However drastic this may sound, Ragnarok in the PM&C labs is merely the name given to the new server (which replaces Groa, see below). An electronic death and rebirth if you like.
