IT (Computer) Procurement procedure
Also known as "buying computers".
Click here to see the very confusing IT procurement website. When you have recovered, follow these instructions (a summary of what's in the word version):
- Get the Createc price list
- Fill in the Requisition form
- You don't need to fill in the product codes
- Item descriptions don't have to match the description exactly
- If an item you need is not on a pricelist, ask for a quote
- Use a K or A cost centre
- Use account number 4555 for hardware and 4652 for software
- Send filled in form to buy@it.up.ac.za
