The Honeywell lab (Engineering II room 2-44) contains 15 computers donated by Honeywell. It is used as the venue for the Process Modelling and Control group's postgraduate lectures and from time to time for other activities.
For administration, the computers are numbered according to the following scheme:
Green board | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | Generation 1 |
6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | Generation 1 |
11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | Generation 2 |
Honeywell agreed to give us 20 computers, but the last 5 have been delayed indefinitely due to the economic downturn.
The computers are cast with images prepared by Wilfred Makhanya at IT.
