Honeywell Profit Suite
Honeywell's Profit Suite is a software package used to design and implement Advanced Model Predictive Controllers. The sections below describe the applications included in Profit Suite R3xx.
Profit Design Studio
PDS is used to build controller models. Models are defined by a transfer function matrix. PDS includes functionality to identify plant models from step test data. Controllers are simulated and tuned offline before commisioning using PDS. For a quick description of how to import data into PDS for model identification purposes see Importing data into PDS.
Profit Suite Runtime Studio
PSRS is used to create the controllers that is ultimately applied for control purposes. PSRS use model files generated by PDS to construct controllers. Profit Stepper, an automated step-testing application is also run from PSRS.
URT Explorer
URT Explorer is used as an enineers interface to configure and run controllers generated by PSRS.
Profit Suite Operator Station
PSOS is an operators interface to Profit Controllers. PSOS is used to set tuning parameters for running controllers.
