Tea Club

On the Main Campus the departmental tea club meets from 09:00 - 09:30 for coffee/tea in the tea room between floors 7 and 8 in Engineering I.

The club maintains a grind-on-demand coffee machine. Instant coffee, tea bags, milk & sugar and boiling water are available in the tea room as well as a microwave oven where you can heat up your lunch.

You must provide your own cup and cutlery (which after use must be washed and stored on the rack on its allocated peg by yourself). Lunch is approximately 12:30 - 13:30. The facility is kept tidy by the club members according to the principle "If you spill, you clean".

Committee

As of 2018, The current chair of the Tea Club is Dawie van Vuuren and the secretary/treasurer is Carl Sandrock.

Fees and payment

The fee for 2020 is R 1000. Fees can be payed at the CSC or via EFT using the University Bank details. The cost centre number is A0Y228 and the account number is 32600, which means your reference if doing an EFT must be "A0Y228/32600".

Since your reference cannot be used to connect the payment to a person you need to fill in this form where you can attach your POP. You have not completed payment until you have filled in this form.
