Carl Zeiss Axio A1-Scope with Axiocam ERc 5S Microscope and Camera
Used to:
- Measure wear scar and/or wear track size
- Capture wear scar and/or wear track appearance.
Typically used with:
- BOCLE
- SL-BOCLE
- HFRR
- SRV
The microscope is used to capture an image of a contact surface after a lubricity test was performed. The surface appearance of the wear scar can then be rated and the wear scar measured. The microscope is equipped with three lenses that are used to obtain different enlargements of the image. These include a 5x-, 10x- and 20x zoom.
- The following modules are available:
- Polarizer
- Dark field
The microscope with the camera attached is shown in the following image.
