Research Focus Areas
- Carbon Materials
- Polymers and Nano Composites
- Pyrotechnics
- Fluoro-materials Science
- Layered Double Hydroxide Mateials
- Particle Technology
Opportunities
The Carbon-, Fluorine and Polymer Materials Engineering Group in the Department of Chemical Engineering offers three Masters Degrees to prospective candidates, namely, the MEng (Chemical Engineering) for students with a BEng or equivalent qualification and the MSc (Applied Science) for students with an acceptable BSc-degree, BTech degree or equivalent. Safety
Safety is of the utmost importance in any Laboratory. To keep laboratory users safe and prevent loss of equipment, certain general rules and guides should be followed in all laboratories. All students in the group must familiarise themselves with the General Laboratory Rules.
