Visio symbols
Most people use Microsoft Visio to create P&IDs. Visio already has a basic process engineering stencil for P&IDs. You can get a set of ISA symbols for Actuators, Flow Devices, Time Logic, Lines, Instuments and PLCs as well as general control stuff here. These can be combined into one stencil or even with the existing Visio stencils. Just put them in your C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Shapes folder (if you have Visio 2003).
