Particle Size Analysis
General Information
Particle Size Analysis (PSA) is an important technique to measure the size or solid or liquid particles. There are several technical procedures, or laboratory techniques to determiner the particle size of a sample. We have access to a Malvern Mastersizer 3000 and a Malvern Zetasizer Nano Z. The Zetasizer can also calculate the zeta potential of a colloidal dispersion.
Equipment Custodian
- The equipment custodian for the Mastersizer is Prof. Johan Labuschagne
- The equipment custodian for the Zetasizer is Prof Ndeke Musee
