Models are defined by a transfer function matrix. PDS includes functionality to identify plant models from step test data. Controllers are simulated and tuned offline before commisioning using PDS. For a quick description of how to import data into PDS for model identification purposes see [[Importing data into PDS]].<br /> <br /> ===Profit Suite Runtime Studio===<br /> PSRS is used to create the controllers that is ultimately applied for control purposes. PSRS use model files generated by PDS to construct controllers.
